1985 , Soviet scientists noticed that when on their neutron detector
storm passed , there was an increase in the neutron flux . Unfortunately

One of them says that the strong fields generated by lightning strikes , change the trajectory of cosmic ray muons . However, recent measurements have shown that none of these theories can not explain the findings.Russian scientists have conducted a new experiment that will significantly clarify previous data . They
found three neutron detector , which were sensitive to low energy
neutrons , one above ground , another part in the building , and the
third above the ground with a strong screening . Also used more traditional and high-energy neutron detector . In
addition, the electrical activity of the storm was measured through a
number of devices that can more accurately compare the dependence of the
electrical activity and indicators of the number of neutrons in a

neutron detector also showed an increase in activity during the storm,
but this is due to the fact that he also receives signals from low
energy neutrons . Thus , the cosmic radiation is not a source of a tide of neutrons during a lightning storm .To
the scientists' surprise , the new data suggest that when lightning
strikes per second produces up to 5000 neutrons per cubic meter.This
high number is not combined with a second explanation , according to
which neutrons are produced by high-energy photons (gamma rays) .
